Why did you decide to open?
Commune was created to meet the growing demand for a modern, community-focused living experience in Siem Reap. With the rise of digital nomads and remote workers, we wanted to offer a space where people could connect, work, and thrive—blending comfort, convenience, and community in one vibrant location.
Located at Rose Apple Square, Commune provides everything from thoughtfully designed living spaces to access to coworking, fitness, and cultural events—all designed to help our residents feel at home while pursuing their personal and professional goals.
How do you manage the community?
Our on-site co-living host, Yen, has been with our company for some time. With a strong background in events and marketing, Yen now serves as House Captain and Host at Commune, residing on-site, to offer member support, host community events, conduct in-person inspections, and interview prospective members. As a local Cambodian, Yen is a wealth of knowledge for our members, ready to answer all the questions they may have about Cambodia, local culture, and life in Siem Reap.
